As a core category of high-end polyolefin chemical new materials, POE is a key driver for the upgrading of the chemical industry towards high-end and refined production. Currently, domestic chemical companies are accelerating their deployment, and the domestic self-sufficiency rate is expected to surge by 2026. However, bottlenecks remain in areas such as the localization of chemical catalysts, the supply of chemical raw materials, the adaptation of POE-specific polymerization equipment, and the integration of environmentally friendly chemical processes, hindering the high-end development of the chemical new materials industry. At this juncture, the CTEF China International Chemical Technology and Equipment Fair will host the "China POE Localization Technology and Equipment Seminar" on June 10, 2026. This conference will focus on the core links of the entire POE chemical chain, addressing technical bottlenecks and equipment adaptation challenges, promoting the coordinated upgrading of POE with basic chemical raw materials, catalysis, equipment, and environmental protection, and contributing to the independent control of the chemical new materials industry. Experts and scholars in the chemical field, as well as representatives from leading enterprises, will be invited to discuss topics such as breakthroughs in core POE chemical technologies, the localization of specialized equipment, and upstream and downstream collaboration in the industrial chain.
